- Partner David Russotto of the Marcari, Russotto, Spencer & Balaban P.C. law firm recently assisted a veteran to become one of the first to be eligible for veterans disability benefits for a health condition based on exposure to contaminated water at the U.S. Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune in North Carolina. According to court documents, the client in this case is suffering from medulloblastoma, a type of brain cancer. Read More »

Prior to joining Marcari, Russotto, Spencer & Balaban P.C., he was Senior Staff Counsel at a large insurance company where he provided litigation defense to the company’s insured policy holders.  — Partner David Spencer at the Raleigh office of Marcari, Russotto, Spencer & Balaban P.C. recently helped a client reach an $890,000 settlement in a case involving a motor vehicle accident that took place while the plaintiff was driving on SR 1436, near Maxton, North Carolina. The plaintiff in this case was rear-ended while driving a work van, and the accident led to serious and permanent injuries. The suit alleged that the defendant driver was operating his vehicle in a careless, negligent and unlawful manner.  Read More »
