$3 Million Default Judgement Granted to Marcari Russotto Spencer & Balaban Law Firm in Motor Vehicle Accident Settlement
Fayetteville, NC - Monday, April 25, 2011 attorney David Spencer of Marcari Russotto Spencer and Balaban filed a law suit with the Superior Court of Cumberland County a motion for default judgment where his client was awarded the amount of $3,076,767.99. The plaintiff was a 17 year old passenger in the defendant’s vehicle. When the defendant went to pass the vehicle in front of them and he clipped the rear of that vehicle causing the vehicle to flip over multiple times. The plaintiff was airlifted from the scene to UNC Hospital and is now paralyzed from the waist down. The driver did not suffer any major injuries.
