Rebecca Lepkowski joined Marcari, Russotto, Spencer & Balaban in March of 2019 to continue her desire to serve the public and advocate for those in need of legal assistance.

Rebecca received her B.A. from the University of Pittsburgh, where she dual majored in Political Science and History. As a student at the University of Pittsburgh, she was on the Dean’s List, was a member of Pi Sigma Alpha, and was a member of the National Society of Collegiate Scholars. Rebecca then went on to law school where she graduated Magna Cum Laude with her Juris Doctor from Creighton University School of Law. While attending law school, Rebecca was on the Dean’s Honor Roll, counseled other students in the Legal Writing Center, worked as a clerk at the Douglas County Attorney’s Office, and then as a clerk for the Douglas County Public Defender’s Office. She also earned a CALI award for Excellence in Bioethics and the Law.

Rebecca was admitted to the Nebraska Bar in 2006 and the North Carolina Bar in 2016. She is a member of the Nebraska Bar Association, the North Carolina Bar Association, the Mecklenburg County Bar Association, and the North Carolina Advocates for Justice. Rebecca has over ten years of experience practicing law and has focused her practice on protecting the rights of others. She first concentrated on trial and appellate work as an assistant Public Defender, she then represented client through the complex Social Security Disability process and at Social Security Disability hearings, and finally transitioned to plaintiff’s law where she is focused on fighting for the best possible outcome for her clients in personal injury claims.

Rebecca is married to a former United States Air Force Officer and a current commercial airline pilot. When not working, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends. She adores animals and continues to advocate for those without a voice through volunteer work. Both personally and professionally, Rebecca’s focus is always on helping those in need.
