Paul Rathke


Born in Toledo, Ohio, Paul had a nomadic upbringing living in multiple towns in Ohio, in Galva, Illinois, in Markham, Ontario, Canada, in Augusta, Georgia, in Burlington, Connecticut, in Hempstead, New York, in Columbia, South Carolina, and in Athens, Georgia, before settling in Greenville, South Carolina where he married and raised a family of three sons and one daughter.  Paul ran a small family business for six years before practicing law.  In over twenty years of practice, he has handled many hundreds of cases in the state and federal courts of South Carolina and North Carolina, and many hundreds more before the South Carolina Workers’ Compensation Commission and the North Carolina Industrial Commission.

Paul is admitted in the state courts of South Carolina, North Carolina, and Georgia, as well as admitted to the Federal District of South Carolina, the Western District of North Carolina, and The Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals.

Paul is a member of the North Carolina Advocates for Justice, The South Carolina Association for Justice, and the Injured Worker’s Advocates.
