Brian Clemmons


Brian Clemmons brings over 37 years of legal experience to our team. A Wilmington native, he earned a BA in History and Political Science from UNC in 1984 and a JD from UNC Law School in 1987, where he was a member of the UNC Law Review.

Brian clerked for a United States District Court Judge in the Eastern District of North Carolina from August 1987 to August 1989. He has since litigated cases at all levels of North Carolina courts and Federal District Courts in the Eastern and Middle Districts of North Carolina, as well as before the Social Security Administration.

A long-time member of the North Carolina Bar Association and the North Carolina Advocates for Justice, Brian is dedicated to putting his clients’ interests first.

Outside of work, Brian enjoys visiting the coast, researching his family’s genealogy, and reading historical books. He is married with two adult children and two elderly cats.
